Description
Basilosaurus was an ancient predatory whale which was very different from any modern whale. Although it may had a tail like that of a modern whale, it's body was long, slender and rather more snake-like. Basilosaurus measured about 15-20 m or more in length.

They're basically huge river dolphins in life rather than a traditional whale.
Though the teeth probably meant they ate larger prey.
I wonder if they were still with us would they be able to be friendly with humans like Orcas and other present day whales?
