Asian elephant skeleton

The last time when i went there, i just wondered if suppose there is any modification of this skeleton or maybe if it was moved somewhere. It was there exactly in the same place. I'm pretty sure there is something wrong with the size mentioned in the photo. There is a photo of a real elephant in front of this skeleton and it is mentioned something like this elephant killed 2 men before it was captured and this is an exceptionally large animal and during life it is said to have been 3.5 m tall.

The problem with the description is that the elephant seen in the photo don't have tusks and it doesn't appear very big either and it seems to me that this skeleton doesn't belong to the elephant seen in the photo. There is a scale bar next to the skeleton and the top of the skull touches it at 3m. A bull Asian elephant at 3m tall is somewhat large individual and i'm sure there is no way that this animal is 3.5 m tall. I'm not sure about the accuracy of this scale bar because in one of the picture i compared myself to the skeleton and i doubt if the skeleton is at 3m. I can't able to find it because the picture is taken in different angle, it is not possible to take a proper side view because there is not much space in between this skeleton and other things nearby. I didn't thought about touching the skeleton and measure it myself because most likely someone is going to say "Hey, what do you think you're doing ?
