Sivatherium Size

Sivatherium giganteum is the largest giraffid and possibly the largest ruminant of all time. It is not tall as the modern giraffe but it was more heavily built and resembled the modern okapi. Sivatherium giganteum was 3 m (10 ft) tall and weighed 700 -1500 kg. Its shoulders were powerful to support the neck muscles required to lift the heavy skull.

Fossils have been found in India.
