Description
Torosaurus is among the largest ceratopsians. It possessed one of the largest skulls of any known land animal. The frilled skull reached over 2.77 m in length. Torosaurus was about 6.5-7.6 m in length and weighed 4 - 6 tonnes.
Fossils have been found in North America (Colorado,Montana,North Dakota,South Dakota,Utah,Wyoming) and Canada (Saskatchewan).

If the northern Torosaurus was the same animal as Triceratops, then the southern Torosaurus was truly a separate species, which the southern Torosaurus was T.utahensis.
