Velociraptor by SameerPrehistorica Velociraptor by SameerPrehistorica
Velociraptor was a mid-sized dromaeosaurid, with adults measuring up to 2.07 m (6.8 ft) long and weighing up to 15 kg (33 lb).

It is one of the dinosaur genera most familiar to the general public due to its prominent role in the Jurassic Park motion picture series. In real life, however, Velociraptor was roughly the size of a turkey, considerably smaller than the approximately 2 m (7 ft) tall 80 kg (180 lb) reptiles seen in the films.

Fossils have been found in China.

I noticed that you let Utahraptor's wing feathers extend to the second digit but not Velociraptor's. What reasoning led you to that decision?

Not much of a different reason. Probably the feathers are not arranged in the same way in all the feathered dinosaurs. That is the reason different artists create images like that.
Another thing not surprisingly i noted is that, some people don't like to see more feathers in feathered dinosaurs. In another site, one person said that there is too much feathers on my Utahraptor. If i didn't used feathers at all then there will be some comments which will say,'why there is no feathers'.

That's true, but all known dinosaurs with advanced wing feathers have them attached at the second digit, so its a little unlikely Velociraptor differentiated. Birds today all have pretty much the same wing arrangement, regardless of their relations to each other.

Is that the actual size of the velociraptor? Because many sources depict it as being man sized.

Oh ok. The reason I asked this question is because velociraptors are portrayed as bigger. Or man sized.

Guess that makes sense.

Tis feels good knowing I can just punt kick one across a room if one attacks me.
